Editorial Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Latest Blessings is built on trust: readers come to us for words they can read, pray, and share with the people they love, on the days that matter most to them. This Editorial Policy explains how our content is created and checked, so you know what to expect from us.

Original Writing

Our blessings, prayers, and messages are original works written for this website. We do not copy collections from other websites, books, or social media pages, and we do not republish other writers’ work as our own. Where we are inspired by a well-known traditional prayer or a widely shared saying, we say so rather than claiming it as ours.

Human Review Before Publishing

Every article published on Latest Blessings is reviewed by a person before it goes live — for clarity, tone, accuracy, and fit with the season or holiday it is written for. Drafting tools may help us research and organize material, but no article is published unreviewed, and we do not publish mass-produced pages.

Scripture and Quotations

When we quote the Bible, we quote it word-for-word from an identified translation — most often the King James Version, which is in the public domain — and we give the book, chapter, and verse. We never invent a quotation or attribute words to a person or a scripture that did not say them. If a blessing is our own writing inspired by a verse, we present it as our writing, not as a quotation.

Published Ahead of the Season

Seasonal blessings are only useful if they arrive before the day they are written for. We plan, write, and publish our holiday collections ahead of each season — Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and the year’s other celebrations — and we check holiday dates for the current year before publishing, so a collection is never built on last year’s calendar.

One Site, One Voice

Latest Blessings focuses on seasonal and holiday blessings — the newest words for the year’s celebrations. We write for that purpose only, and we do not publish the same article, in whole or in part, on any other website.

Corrections

If we make a mistake — a misquoted verse, a wrong date, a broken link — we correct it as soon as we learn of it. Readers can report errors any time through our Contact page. Significant corrections to a published article are made in the article itself, not silently swapped into unrelated pages.

Advertising Independence

Advertising displayed on this site does not influence what we write. We do not accept payment to publish blessings or articles, and sponsored content, if ever published, would be clearly labeled as such.
